Indianapolis. Police today were searching for the drivers of two automobiles which last night struck and killed two Indianapolis women while they were waiting for a street ear. The first machine knocked the two women to the pavement and the second following closely ran over them.
One woman Miss josephine Herman , 26 was killed instantly and the other Mrs Dolly Mitchell, 23 died in ten minutes.
Following the death of the women Mayor Samuel Lewis Shank ordered all speeders arrested and held under $5000 bond in an effort to stop fast driving in the city.
