US War on Iran: Heavy Losses Mount on All Sides as Conflict Turns Bloody and Costly

Just three days after the United States and Israel launched their joint military campaign against Iran, the war has already become a brutal and expensive conflict. Casualties are rising fast, infrastructure is being destroyed, and no side is emerging as a clear winner.

United States Losses and Damage

The US has lost at least 7 fighter jets (F-35s and F-15s), one MQ-9 Reaper drone, and more than 40 soldiers killed or missing.
The USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier was hit by Iranian cruise missiles near the Strait of Hormuz. The ship is heavily damaged and has been forced to withdraw for repairs.
Oil prices have surged above $108 per barrel, adding billions to the US military budget and hitting American consumers at the pump.

Israeli Losses and Damage

Iranian retaliatory strikes have killed over 180 civilians in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem areas.
Ben Gurion International Airport is closed until further notice.
Several military bases and parts of the railway system have been badly damaged.

US and Israeli airstrikes have caused massive destruction in Tehran, Isfahan, and the Natanz nuclear complex.
Iran reports more than 1,200 civilians and 450 soldiers killed. Independent sources say the real death toll is likely even higher.
Major oil refineries are on fire and Iran’s oil exports have almost completely stopped. The Strait of Hormuz is partially blocked, creating chaos in global shipping.

Iran has hit back hard, launching missile and drone attacks on US bases in Iraq and Syria, as well as targets in the Gulf states that support the operation.

Impact on Other Countries

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait have all suffered missile strikes on oil facilities and airports.
Tourism across the entire Gulf region has collapsed almost overnight. Hotels in Dubai and Doha are nearly empty, and international airlines have cancelled hundreds of flights.
In Europe, fuel prices are skyrocketing — in Finland, petrol now costs €2.39 per litre. Many flights to the Middle East and Asia have been cancelled or heavily delayed.

This is no longer just a war between the US, Israel and Iran. It has become a regional disaster with global consequences. The longer the conflict continues, the higher the cost in lives, money, and stability.

The big question now is simple: Is this war really worth it?
