NAVI triumphs in Counter Strike major final in Stockholm

Natus Vincere (known as NAVI) outplayed G2 Esports in the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 grand final in Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) on Sunday.

This was the debut victory for NAVI captain Alexander Kostylev (s1mple) and the first world championship victory for NAVI’s CS:GO team.

NAVI earned $1 million (€865,000) in prize money. G2 Esports, who finished in second place, received $300,000 (€259,000).

The 24 best teams in the world shared a prize pool of $2 million (€1.73 million). This is the largest prize pool in the history of the tournament.
