Country’s best-selling electric car goes convertible at Shanghai Auto Show

The convertible version of Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV, China’s best-selling electric car, was on display at Shanghai Auto Show on Monday.

The Wuling Hong Guang Mini EV Cabrio is an electrical vehicle that made its debut to much fanfare as visitors clamoured to photograph the much-anticipated vehicle.

One visiter, Mr Gao, said that “The design of the domestically-produced cars is very ambitious. This year’s auto show also saw that every manufacturer was full of sincerity and produced very good products. For me, domestically-made cars are getting better and better.”

Wuling’s previous series have out-sold the Tesla Model 3 in China. There is no set date yet on when the newest Cabrio is expected to hit the market.
