Seeking a quiet nook for reading? Wisdom Bay Innovation Park in Shanghai might be the spot for you. A 3D-printed concrete reading room opens its doors to the public on the site, as seen on Tuesday.
Developed by the Tsinghua University School of Architecture in Beijing, the library was built in a comma shape by robotic arms, and opened to readers earlier in March.
The concrete and stone shape building has a floor area of about 30 square metres and can accommodate up to 15 people inside.
