Trump cares about feeding his ego’ – Obama joins Biden rally in Detroit

Former President Barack Obama joined Democratic candidate and former Vice President Joe Biden in a rally in Detroit on Saturday, in the final days of the presidential race. Speaking before a crowd of supporters that maintained social distancing and were wearing masks, Obama slammed the Trump administration’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic while advocating for a Biden presidency. “We have got his chief of staff saying, he said this on TV, he said we are not going to control the pandemic. Just flat out just said it, we not going to control it. We noticed. Yes, you’re right. And that’s why we’ve got to have Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House,” Obama said. “That is the difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump right there. Trump cares about feeding his ego. Joe cares about keeping you safe and your family safe and getting this country moving again,” he continued. Stevie Wonder performed at the rally, while Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer got on stage to call on people to vote for Biden. The US presidential election is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 3. (Ruptly.tv)
